MDX for Excel PowerPivot

Although Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) is the first language of PowerPivot and Excel PivotTables, cube formulas still use MDX to query PowerPivot data. So, it is important to understand the basics of MDX if you're going to get the most out of PowerPivot. In this session, you will learn how to use MDX with Excel features such as sets and query tables, as well as how MDX is used in Excel cube formulas. There will be a strong practical focus, showing you examples of how you can use MDX to solve real-world problems when building Excel dashboards and reports.
