Power BI in Excel

Excel 2013 Power BI delivers a compelling set of Self-Service BI tools and services for the discovery, analysis, and visualization of on-premises and cloud-based data. In this session I will introduce Power BI. You'll leave with a solid understanding of the capabilities of the Power BI platform within Excel, how it can empower business users and data experts within an organization, and how to get started right away.


Patrick LeBlanc

Patrick LeBlanc is a currently a Data Platform Solutions Architect. Along with his 15+ years’ experience in IT he holds a Masters of Science degree from Louisiana State University. He is the author and co-author of five SQL Server books. Prior to joining Microsoft he was awarded Microsoft MVP award for his contributions to the community. Patrick is a regular speaker at many SQL Server Conferences and Community events.
